MINDFULNESS-BASED COGNITIVE THERAPY IS PROVEN TO HELP PREVENT DEPRESSION & ANXIETY WHILE IMPROVING OUR ABILITY TO COPE WITH LIFE STRESSORS.

This class will provide you with the skills to enjoy your life more fully and navigate the difficulties with greater ease. When we practice mindfulness, our attention is focused keenly on the here and now, rather than past regrets, future fears, or tomorrow’s triumphs. It is a practice in acceptance and non-judgment: one which forgoes a belief in a “right” or “wrong” reaction with regard to any given moment or circumstance. Exercising mindfulness has been linked to a number of psychological, physical, and social benefits, ranging from boosted immunity and heightened attention skills to lowered levels of anxiety and depression. Through regular practice, participants can cultivate new levels of health and well being while supporting a positive and empowering lifestyle transformation.
